A village cricket club in Yorkshire commissioned a new pavilion to replace the existing building on a sensitive site in a conservation area.

The design accommodates new changing facilities, a covered seating area and small shop. The client stipulated that the building should be constructed in timber and should employ simple construction methods to allow members of the club to self build the project.
